December 31st, '05 - An Impressive Performance In Kavarna!
People say it was a great way to warm up under the cold skies of
charming Kavarna on the Black Sea and at the same time meet the New
Year witnessing a great display by their favorite musicians. Our
guys from B.T.R opened the floor with some of their own songs. The
audience didn't have to wait long to see Mr. Lawton, brightening the
atmosphere with his famous Uriah Heep voice. With just a rehearsal
or two our boys were able to resemble Uriah Heep for almost an hour,
singing most of the songs from their unforgettable repertoire. And
then B.T.R suddenly had to turn into a livelier and powerful "Deep
Purple". Glenn Hughes and B.T.R who spent just a few hours
rehearsing the songs every rocker knows by heart, were delighted by
the understanding and rhythm they were able to achieve. What a work
by the pros!
The New Year was met by an impressive "Smoke on the Water" with
John Lawton, Glenn Hughes and B.T.R performing all together! You can

December 31st, '05 - B.T.R, John and Glenn together!!!
Is there a better way of meeting the New Year and celebrating
than having Deep Purple and Uriah Heep together on stage with your
favorite B.T.R? Well, this is happening! We were thrilled to find
out that both Glenn Hughes and John Lawton were happy to accept our
invitations for what would be a historical event at the Black Sea
city of Kavarna, Bulgaria! In our opinion the best recognition of
all is the fact that both stars agreed to perform with B.T.R instead
of having their own bands on stage, since they have already seen
what our guys can do! Just for the fans of our site we are revealing
parts of the playlist for the evening, which otherwise is kept
secret: "Stormbringer", "Mistreated", "Smoke
on the Water", "Burn", "Sail Away",
"Keep on Moving", "Might Just Take Your Life"
(with Glenn) and "Easy Living", "Lady in Black", "Look
at Yourself", "Wizard", "Hanging Tree", "Stealing
Sympathy" (with John). Awesome, right!
Eurosonic right around the corner
A month from now the band will be able to add a great event to
its already long resume, the famous annual festival in Netherlands,
called "Eurosonic". A couple of days packed with music and acts from
around Europe, famous and not-so-famous performances, lots of fun.
With over 140 acts in 25 venues the festival is not only an
opportunity to present for the biggest music industry players, but
also introduce new artists to Dutch audience. Good luck to our boys!

Lots of Rock, drinks and partying in Bosnia and Herzegovina
B.T.R just came back from their trip to a festival in Bania Luka,
Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nice atmosphere, friendly people, they say.
August 20th, '05 - Scorpions postponed, meet Axel!

There we are again, there is something great going on
there in Bulgaria! If you have the chance, jump on the
plane and go there, in addition to the marvelous Black
Sea resorts and the famously beautiful ladies you will
have the opportunity to observe some of the greatest
rockers ever, live! Scorpions postponed their appearance
until the 6th of September, but look who came to fill in
for them, Axel Rudi Pell and Masterplan! B.T.R were
there as usual ready to rock.

July 21st, '05 - B.T.R and Deep Purple - Great Impressions!
Our boys not only met with their lifelong idols (look for
pictures in our gallery), but they were also honored to warm up the
historical event, which brought the rock dinosaurs to Bulgaria. Our
representative reports that Roger Glover who has the habit of
observing warm-up bands from behind the stage, watched B.T.R's
performance and didn't later hide that he was impressed. Is there a
better recognition than that?
July 7th, '05 - B.T.R meet Dio!
B.T.R met Ronnie James Dio whose concert in Bulgaria is part of
his 2005 World Tour.
Somehow the plans for warming up "God" were not realized. However,
our boys could exchange some words with him and yes, make a few
photos (coming soon to our gallery).
June 21st, '05 - "Salvation" hits US market!
After more than 2 years full of efforts, emotions, ups and
downs, challenges and various obstacles, B.T.R released their 1st
ever all-English album, which is also their 1st targeting mainly
American Audience. In addition to the band's excellent studio
work, the album would have never been realized without the
cooperation of B.T.R's US Manager and JetSpeed Records, the
Californian label that opened its doors for B.T.R and "Salvation".

June 21st, '05 - B.T.R perform with Nazareth and Saxon!
Great shows, excellent musicians! Stars, managers
and organizers joined for some after-show fiesta and it's all
documented. Wanna guess who had more Jack Daniels than anybody else?

Weather influenced by the
face-to-face with Steve Morse, quality of sound, or just image,
B.T.R's guitarists are now enjoying very similar "Music Man - Earnie
Ball Steve Morse Custom Guitars" (too many names, right?)
So, great sound, soft touch and lots of different sounds is the
feedback we initially got. Here is the 2nd one which came to the
band just recently, but is now an important part of every trip:
