The Story of JetSpeed Records and B.T.R

On June 21st, 2005 B.T.R issued their first All-English album targeting the music market in USA. The album included over 2 years of great effort by more than 30 different specialists both from USA and Bulgaria. We engaged a lot of resources and did not spare energy towards selecting music, translating lyrics in a way that will both preserve the initial artistic ideas and at the same time make them understandable for a different culture, as well as spending lots of hours recording and mastering all eleven compositions. All of us got entirely satisfied with the result and we beamed with optimism about the future of this product in America.

In order to receive a better introduction of "Salvation" in America we contracted an Indy record label in Hollywood, California - Jet Speed and Red Galaxy Records. We signed an Agreement and felt that we have found a friend and a passionate apprentice on the way of growing, promoting and distributing "Salvation" in USA. However, despite the great interest from our fans, in the first months of interaction with our label we realized we have chosen the wrong partner in a cause so important to ourselves, the band and even our countries in general. Jet Speed Records in the face of its self-proclaimed manager Courtland Tyler lacked the skills, abilities and energy to work on our project as needed. Even more, they did not fully realize the enormous potential of the rockers from B.T.R. Being a small record label they also lacked the financial ability to continue development to the level that B.T.R needed. 

As a consequence, our label not only didn't cooperate in the development of "Salvation", but they deliberately tried to hamper our effort without being able to execute their part of our Agreement. Jet Speed and Courtland Tyler became an obstacle by not promoting the album, not distributing enough copies to music stores and last, but not least, by dishonestly avoiding responsibility. Jet Speed showed no respect to a proven rock'n'roll band with successful record on 3 continents! The label just tried to drag the execution and simulate activities, for the purpose of financially profiting. Thus, putting no effort they managed just to stay idle and benefit from our enormous effort. Jet Speed and Courtland Tyler never presented to us Sales Reports, user data, or distribution statistics, in general all essentials to a music product and label - artist relationship.

What Jet Speed and Red Galaxy did not realize is our strength, as well as the potential of our organization behind B.T.R, which has grown so much over more than 15 years of time together! As a result of someone voiding our Agreement and not putting the necessary effort on our mutual project, after signing upon it, we decided to fight back and employ all necessary means towards a successful resolution. We have hired the best attorneys from the Entertainment industry in Hollywood to engage in a battle far more significant than anybody's artistic work, the battle against all scammers and liars within the music industry, the battle to destroy everyone who is trying to financially and otherwise benefit on artists. Our goal is to develop a common cause with all those betrayed and not given the proper treatment, thus creating a pure and honest environment.

We are not going to stop within the limits of our agreement with Jet Speed and Red Galaxy records. We are going to personally hold Mr. Courtland Tyler accountable for his deeds and destroy his scam organization that in our case only showed menace to the industry. In addition to a legal battle, we have contacted all music and recording industry organizations that have the power to prevent such happenings in the future. However, we can presently guarantee one thing, the hostility and lack of professionalism are only making us stronger and bigger on the way to success. And success is inevitable when you have such a wonderful music, a team that is bonded together and international recognition.
